TCIE brings home the Bronze medal at WGI Finals!!

The 2009 season has come to it's exciting conclusion with TCIE taking the Bronze Medal (3rd place) (91.375) in WGI Percussion Independent Open finals! All staff and members would like to thank our family, friends, and local music community for their continued support! A very special thanks to the Tates Creek HS band directors and band program for their support and enthusiasm! Also, a very large thank you to Innovative Percussion, Remo, and Yamaha.

Tates Creek Indoor Ensemble (3rd-91.375) took 2nd in Visual, 3rd in Performance Analysis and 5th in General Effect. “Bionic” started with a narration about the development of a new type of cell and closed with the cell being perfected with the precision of a machine and the heart and soul of a human, reflected in the mechanized motions of the line.
